Olagoke Kikelomo Unlocks Twist Clinging Characters In Encamped
The Literary Renaissance Foundation (LRF), Monthly Book Reading Program was held on April 7, 2024, and the session started at 5 pm via Zoom. The title of the book for April was: Encamped. The Executive Director, of the Literary Renaissance Foundation, Mr Babatunde Oladele moderated the session.
It started with an introduction of all participants who joined from different parts of Nigeria and abroad. In the Book Reading Session, the author read excerpts of her book to the online audience, which gave room for the audience to make meaningful contributions and critiques, and allowed them to ask questions.
The guest for the April Book Reading was Olagoke Kikelomo, Author of the Book titled: Encamped. She is a lover of God and a skilled writer who manoeuvres her way into her readers’ world. Her primary goal is to utilise her literary works, facilitate personal growth and encourage people to become the better version of themselves
Encamped is a story that portrays the war within, letting go, forgiveness, bitterness, love, restitution, and healing. A meeting was all the characters needed to unlock the twist clinging to their lives and realize the freedom they sought resides within them. Sometimes, the answers we are looking for aren’t far from us, only if we look a little closer, we would realize we don’t have to travel far and wide for results.
At the end of each reading session by the author, the participants were given room to ask questions and the author answered brilliantly. The session ended at 6:45 pm with words of appreciation by the Convener, Mr Babatunde Oladele.
