Niran Adedokun Takes Participants on A Danfo Ride at LRF’s September Book Reading
The September edition of the monthly Book Reading organised by the Literary Renaissance Foundation [LRF] left participants highly stimulated and hungry for the next meeting which is still some weeks away!
The meeting started at exactly 5 pm with self introduction by those present, after which the Executive Director of LRF, Babatunde Oladele, gave a brief overview of the mission and ideals of the foundation. The compere, Oladimeji Ogunnoye, called for the bio of the author of the day, which was read by Evelyn Ajimuda, one of the interns in the 2022 internship cohort of TRW Consult.
Niran Adedokun is a public relations practitioner, lawyer and writer with years of experience in the private, public and non-profit sectors. He is the author of The Danfo Driver In All Of Us published in 2018.

The Danfo Driver In All Of Us and Other Essays is a compilation of Niran Adedokun’s personal reflections on a variety of topical national issues in the space of five years between 2013 and 2018.
The book is a metaphor that explores the complexity of governance, stewardship and institutional democracy with a keen insight on the well-documented agelong and contemporary problems of Nigeria.
After the reading, participants were allowed to ask questions and freely shared their comments.
The LRF book reading ended at 6:45 pm with the Executive Director thanking everyone who attended the reading whilst inviting them to make it a date next month at the next reading which holds on October 2, 2022.
