About the author

Ndubuisi Martins is poetry theorist, critic and writer, the author of two full collections of poetry, One Call, Many Answers (2017) and Answers through the Bramble (2021) longlisted for 2022 Pan African Writers’ Association Poetry Prize (English Category), and poetry gazelle, The Harmony of Lost Things (2023) selected by Carl Terver under Shamsrumi Gazelle Series.

Ndubuisi Martins Aniemeka is also a Ph.D. student in the Department of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures at Charles University, Prague. He earned his Master of Arts in English (Literature) and Bachelor of Arts in Education/English from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, respectively. Mr. Aniemeka was invited to the Monday Forum, where he lectured on Postcolonial Theory and Nigerian Literature at Palacky University, Olomouc, Czech Republic. At the University of Siena in Arezzo, Italy, Aniemeka presented a paper on Ben Okri’s novel along with the theme of the HERMES Doctoral Summer School.

An emerging scholar in Anglophone Literature with a bias for poetry and poetics, theory, and criticism, Aniemeka’s articles and reviews have appeared in learned journals and literary magazines or they are forthcoming in monographs and edited collections of essays.
