An Engaging Evening With Becky Olorunpomi At The LRF August Book Reading

It was another exciting evening for all participants when Becky Olorunpomi took to the podium and read from her book, Dear Singles!, at the August 2022 edition of the LRF book reading which took place on Zoom on Sunday, 7 August 2022.

The event which started a few minutes after 5 p.m. kicked off with a welcome address and introduction of all who were present by the compere, Oladimeji Ogunoye.

A brief overview of LRF was given by the Director of Strategy, Oluwaseun Olaniyi, while the Foundation’s Administrator, Mary Ogundipe, read a profile of the author of the day.

Becky Olorunpomi is a relationship and marriage enthusiast, counsellor, author, writer and speaker, as well as convener of the annual Singles Summit in Lagos, Nigeria. She is a certified Marriage and Masters Mentor from The Institute of Marriage and Family Affairs (TIMFA), USA and an alumna of the Basic Daystar Leadership Academy.

Her two books, Being Single: Challenges and Way Out and Dear Singles!, are both on Amazon Kindle and Okadabooks.com. They are also available in hard copy.

Becky read from her book, Dear Singles, a compilation of 52 letters to singles and self-reflecting writing that came up as a divine instruction to her to address certain singles-related issues, especially how to have a beautiful relationship in preparation for a beautiful marriage.

The author ended the reading with a touch of a personal story which garnered lots of comments and questions.

The meeting ended with announcements and a vote of thanks by the Director of Strategy.
